French Country Wedding Inspiration with Wisconsin Fall Tones, Florals and Textures

Bon appetit! Bringing the French countryside to Wisconsin in this wedding inspiration shoot captured among a sprawling field in golden light as the leaves and colors are peaking with dusty French blues, Fall tones of butter, and apricot along with textures of foliage and fruits - settle in my loves and pin away to use this event and wedding florist design for your very own playbook of dreamy wedding inspo.

I may be over here dreaming just a little bit of beautiful France, it’s stunning landscapes, charming Chateaus, Champagne and burgundy wine flowing, fresh olives, and bread. Which is why today, I’m bringing the French countryside to Wisconsin in this wedding inspiration shoot captured among a sprawling field (not a lavender field - sadly) in golden light as the leaves and colors are peaking in the background. Incorporating dusty French blues, Fall tones of butter, and apricot flowers along with textures of foliage and fruits - settle in my loves and pin away to use this event and Lake Chelan wedding planner design for your very own playbook of dreamy wedding inspo. Bon appetit!

Wandering branches and leaves with pretty butter and apricot florals with a splash of greenery made up this fall wedding bouquet and centerpiece.

I incorporated a whitewash wood farm table custom made by my dad (thank you, dad!) from an old red barn door from my aunt and uncle’s farm. Provencal-style oval back chairs in beige linen upholstery tied in insanely perfect to complete this design concept.

Two small bud vases with just a few loose stems and foliage sat on each side of the large centerpiece. Bud vases are so simple, yet beautiful for that less is more style and a perfect accent piece to any wedding reception table. Becoming a Lake Chelan wedding planner + designer was only a natural fit. Working with colors, textures, different blooms and accent pieces throughout the design so it all ties in is truly a work of art and creative eye for detail.

Adding fresh, in-season fruit to your table is another great way to add texture and additional elements. From apples, pears, apricots, figs, to olives, and pomegranates - the options are endless. Just peruse your produce aisle at your local grocery store to give you even more ideas that will tie in with your color palette and style.

If sweets aren’t your thing, think outside of the box and offer a REAL cheese cake. Or set this out for your guests during your cocktail hour with a full Charcuterie spread of cured meats, nuts, crackers and jams. Using different types of cheese on each tier, here I used Brie, Boursin, and Camemberti accented with olives and hints of rosemary and berries.

I love a good escort card display! Create an entrance piece for an alternative escort card display using fresh herbs, potted plants or potted flowers to hold your escort cards - setting them on a table, dresser, stand or buffet table for an overall gorgeous display.

Whimsical Romantic Fall Wedding at Wild Rock Golf Club in Wisconsin

A whimsical romantic Wisconsin fall wedding affair nestled among the Wild Rock Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells, planned and designed by Wildbird Weddings with peach, blush and marsala hues with lush greenery and blooms from Wild Apples. See more from the gallery here.

This wedding right here? It's exactly the reason why fall is my favorite season for weddings. For Veronica + Drew, it was a dream coming onboard as their wedding planner and design their wedding. Having been friends with Veronica since the 8th grade and her whole family being like family to me, it's truly a wonderful blessing to watch Veronica + Drew's love story unfold as they left Madison (where they met) 5 years ago to journey west to San Francisco and begin a new chapter of their lives and watch their gorgeous Wisconsin fall wedding come together so beautifully.

Whimsical and romantic with vibrant rich tones of marsala and soft hues of blush, peach, and cream with accents of greenery, floral designer Wild Apples went above and beyond curating the most utterly gorgeous blooms. From the outdoor ceremony and rustic indoor Wisconsin Northwoods feel of Wild Rock Golf Club to the amazingly delicious sweets from To Di For, chalkboard signs I hand-lettered and a whole lot of love from family + friends, Veronica + Drew's Wisconsin Dells wedding is nothing short of fall perfection! And you never would have known it turned out to be the hottest day of the entire year the day of their wedding! (90 degrees - that's Wisconsin for ya!) HOW DID YOU MEET? My brother introduced us. They were very good friends and I was new to the city. Drew asked to take me on a date immediately!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Drew and I love hiking - we live in the beautiful San Francisco area and we are surrounded by natural beauty everywhere we look. One day, after a long stretch of work, he took me on my favorite hike overlooking all of the bay. You can see all three bay bridges from this view. He took me to a quiet spot, we took picture after picture, (as we always do) and as I turned away to snap a good pic, he was getting down on one knee. When I turned back I couldn't believe it. Really - I asked him if he was joking! Then I saw him pull out the ring box and I knew it was real. After saying, "yes" we sat on the hillside holding each other and looking at all of the beauty around us. It was a perfect moment.

DESCRIBE YOUR FLOWERS: My flowers were stunning- more beautiful than I imagined them being.

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR DRESS: I hate shopping! Luckily for me, I knew the designer I wanted to go with- Maggie Sottero. I googled local bridal shops who carried her dresses and picked the closest one to me. My sister, mom, and I spent a morning picking out and trying on dresses, but I knew immediately that the very first one I tried on - was the one!

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY? My most memorable moment from the wedding day would have to be the moment we were reading each other's vows. There was something so sweet, and intimate about our words and the way that we looked into each other's eyes - declaring our love before our family and friends. We are not very mushy people, but this was a moment I will never forget. A moment that still brings tears to my eyes.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS LOCATION? We chose this location because it met many of our needs. Central location for all of our in and out of town guests, it had an outdoor venue with an indoor option, food and drinks were a part of the venue purchase, they had a great event coordinator who helped with everything along the journey, it was part of a hotel - which was great for our guests to have a place to crash after a day full of partying!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Advice: hire a wedding planner - specifically Michelle! HA! I am not even kidding though! I am not into this kind of stuff - planning parties - but of course I wanted it to be lovely. Michelle took every phone call, email, text into consideration and created for us the most perfect event - more than anything I could have imagined. Having a wedding planner took so much more stress off of my plate. To be honest, I cannot imagine how any bride or groom would have an enjoyable time without having the help of a planner. This is such an important day, and the least amount of stress you can feel, the better.

Elegant Meets Wildlife MilwaukeeWedding with Freshly Picked Autumn Florals and Birch Textures

Nestled on a beautiful, pristine hill at the highest elevation in Wisconsin, Nick & Chrystal said, "I do" at one of the most prestigious Catholic Churches, Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary. This elegant meets wildlife wedding affair mirrored the couple’s passion for hunting and wildlife conservation while keeping their day elegant and classy. Accents of antlers, wood, birch trees, hand crafted dessert stand and freshly picked flowers boasted throughout the tables, bouquets, centerpieces - even the groomsmen's boutonnieres were adorned with antlers the bride & groom found while shed hunting.

Sunday, July 10, 2016

Nestled on a beautiful, pristine hill at the highest elevation in Wisconsin, Nick & Chrystal said, "I do" at one of the most prestigious Catholic Churches, Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary on August 1, 2015. This is by far the most breathtaking and immaculate church I have ever set foot in, where thousands of people each year come to visit.

Chrystal said, "I wanted to mirror our passion for hunting and wildlife conservation while keeping our day elegant and classy."  Accents of antlers, wood, birch trees and flowers boasted throughout the tables, bouquets, centerpieces, even the groomsmen's boutonnieres were adorned with antlers the bride & groom found while shed hunting. The groom himself even hand crafted the cupcake holders out of birch trees.

Located right outside of the quaint town of Hartford, the celebration continued throughout the evening at Scenic View Country Club, where bottles were popped, shots were poured & dancing to a little whip/nae/nae all night long. Of course, Nick & Chrystal made their lovely guests work a little to see them kiss, so they provided a kissing menu where guests could pick from to demonstrate in front of everyone. Love this idea! All the paper goods were especially hand crafted by the bride, Chrystal herself. Such a beautiful and amazing day to witness as a wedding planner!

NOAH & LIZ'S INTIMATE FALL CAMP WEDDING

June 7, 2016

camp wedding camp style wedding

Camp weddings, one of our favorites as a wedding planner! Nestled in the north woods at Camp Lakotah alongside Little Hills Lake, Noah & Liz's camp wedding turned out gorgeous!  They decked out their day with a sense of rustic woods of memorable, custom wood-built details, campfires, and smore's. This definitely made for one of the prettiest celebrations!

A big thanks to LUXE Photo Company for capturing these stunning moments!

The color scheme consisted of a pretty blush and gold palette. The center pieces were boasting with baby's breath, wood chargers, burlap and lace table runners.
