French Country Wedding Inspiration with Wisconsin Fall Tones, Florals and Textures
Bon appetit! Bringing the French countryside to Wisconsin in this wedding inspiration shoot captured among a sprawling field in golden light as the leaves and colors are peaking with dusty French blues, Fall tones of butter, and apricot along with textures of foliage and fruits - settle in my loves and pin away to use this event and wedding florist design for your very own playbook of dreamy wedding inspo.
I may be over here dreaming just a little bit of beautiful France, it’s stunning landscapes, charming Chateaus, Champagne and burgundy wine flowing, fresh olives, and bread. Which is why today, I’m bringing the French countryside to Wisconsin in this wedding inspiration shoot captured among a sprawling field (not a lavender field - sadly) in golden light as the leaves and colors are peaking in the background. Incorporating dusty French blues, Fall tones of butter, and apricot flowers along with textures of foliage and fruits - settle in my loves and pin away to use this event and Lake Chelan wedding planner design for your very own playbook of dreamy wedding inspo. Bon appetit!
Wandering branches and leaves with pretty butter and apricot florals with a splash of greenery made up this fall wedding bouquet and centerpiece.
I incorporated a whitewash wood farm table custom made by my dad (thank you, dad!) from an old red barn door from my aunt and uncle’s farm. Provencal-style oval back chairs in beige linen upholstery tied in insanely perfect to complete this design concept.
Two small bud vases with just a few loose stems and foliage sat on each side of the large centerpiece. Bud vases are so simple, yet beautiful for that less is more style and a perfect accent piece to any wedding reception table. Becoming a Lake Chelan wedding planner + designer was only a natural fit. Working with colors, textures, different blooms and accent pieces throughout the design so it all ties in is truly a work of art and creative eye for detail.
Adding fresh, in-season fruit to your table is another great way to add texture and additional elements. From apples, pears, apricots, figs, to olives, and pomegranates - the options are endless. Just peruse your produce aisle at your local grocery store to give you even more ideas that will tie in with your color palette and style.
If sweets aren’t your thing, think outside of the box and offer a REAL cheese cake. Or set this out for your guests during your cocktail hour with a full Charcuterie spread of cured meats, nuts, crackers and jams. Using different types of cheese on each tier, here I used Brie, Boursin, and Camemberti accented with olives and hints of rosemary and berries.
I love a good escort card display! Create an entrance piece for an alternative escort card display using fresh herbs, potted plants or potted flowers to hold your escort cards - setting them on a table, dresser, stand or buffet table for an overall gorgeous display.
NOAH & LIZ'S INTIMATE FALL CAMP WEDDING
June 7, 2016
Camp weddings, one of our favorites as a wedding planner! Nestled in the north woods at Camp Lakotah alongside Little Hills Lake, Noah & Liz's camp wedding turned out gorgeous! They decked out their day with a sense of rustic woods of memorable, custom wood-built details, campfires, and smore's. This definitely made for one of the prettiest celebrations!
A big thanks to LUXE Photo Company for capturing these stunning moments!
Liz's beautiful blush blooms from Our Town Florist.
This rustic barn has been part of the groom's family farm for centuries.
More wooded details, this custom built picnic table was built by a family friend and used as a guest book to sign by guests.
The color scheme consisted of a pretty blush and gold palette. The center pieces were boasting with baby's breath, wood chargers, burlap and lace table runners.
Campfires and smore's bar completed this camp wedding, of course! There was a rustic wine barrel that had a smore's bar on top with all the fixings.
Congrats Noah & Liz! 9.26.15
